General Policy Statement – The Racer X Fabrication Standard

At Racer X Fabrication, our commitment to excellence extends far beyond the point of sale. The Racer X experience begins with the information, support, and promotional material we provide—both directly and through our trusted dealer network. It continues through the purchase, delivery, and long-term use of our products. We believe every interaction with our brand should reflect the quality, innovation, and care that Racer X is known for.

To preserve this experience, we expect all Racer X Authorized Distributors to represent our brand with the same level of integrity. We are intentional in maintaining strong margins and brand value for our partners, and we do not support advertising or promotional practices that may undermine the perceived value of Racer X products.

Our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy is designed to ensure that dealers compete based on customer service, expertise, and brand representation—not price alone. This protects not only our brand but also your ability to succeed as an Authorized Distributor.

We take our MAP Policy seriously. As stated in the Racer X Authorized Distributor Agreement, violations may result in the loss of authorized distributor status and all associated privileges.

This policy is effective as of May 1, 2025.

1. MAP Policy Conditions

• MAP / MSRP Pricing Information
  • MAP and MSRP pricing for all Racer X Fabrication products is outlined in the official Racer X Product Pricing Sheet, which will be made available to all authorized distributors. This pricing may be updated by Racer X Fabrication at any time, and any changes will be reflected simultaneously on the pricing sheet. Distributors will be notified via email of any revisions.
• Advertising Channels Covered
  • The Racer X MAP Policy applies to all forms of advertisement, including but not limited to:
    • Print: Posters, catalogs, flyers, inserts, and magazines
    • Digital: Email newsletters, promotional email campaigns, internet or instant messaging
    • Broadcast: Television ads, radio spots, and public signage
• Website Functionality Restrictions
  • Website features such as “Add to Cart for Price,” “Click for Price,” or pop-ups that disclose pricing below MAP—along with automated follow-up emails offering Racer X products at below-MAP pricing—are considered advertisements under this policy and are not permitted.
• Selling Price vs. Advertised Price
  • This policy governs advertised pricing only. It does not limit the final sale price offered to individual customers. Racer X Authorized Distributors are free to sell Racer X products at any price through:
    • In-store transactions
    • Telephone orders
  • However, any public display or written communication of sub-MAP pricing remains prohibited.
• Private Messaging and Instant Communication
  • The Racer X MAP Policy also applies to private messages and direct communication platforms such as Facebook Messenger, SMS text, online forums, and other instant messaging tools. These methods are frequently used by competitors to monitor MAP compliance, and any documentation of sub-MAP pricing—even in private exchanges—will be considered a violation.
• Bundling and Promotions
  • Offering free or discounted items in combination with Racer X products is only allowed if the advertised pricing clearly indicates that the Racer X product itself is being sold at or above MAP. If such distinction is not made, the promotion may be considered non-compliant. Racer X reserves the right to evaluate these promotions on a case-by-case basis and requires that any non-compliant advertisements be corrected or removed within 24 hours of notification.
• Marketing Language and Price Matching
  • Distributors may advertise phrases such as “lowest prices,” “price match guarantee,” or “call for best price,” as long as they do not publish or otherwise communicate pricing below MAP through written or digital media. Sub-MAP pricing may only be discussed over the phone or in person.
• Online Marketplaces and Third-Party Platforms
  • Racer X products listed on auction-style platforms (e.g., eBay) must reflect pricing at or above MAP. Features like “Make an Offer” are not permitted. Likewise, listings on third-party retail platforms (e.g., Amazon) must reflect accurate product descriptions, MSRP, and MAP pricing. Racer X reserves the right to request removal or suspension of listings that do not meet these standards, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

2. Promotions

• Racer X-Initiated Promotions
  • Racer X Fabrication may, at its discretion, initiate promotional events on specific products or across the entire product line. In such cases, Racer X reserves the right to temporarily modify or suspend MAP requirements for the duration of the promotion. All authorized distributors will be notified of these changes in advance, along with applicable guidelines.
• Distributor-Initiated Sale Requests
  • Authorized distributors are welcome to propose limited-time, exclusive sales or promotional campaigns by contacting Racer X Support at info@racerxfabrication.com. Proposals should include:
    • The products included in the promotion
    • Proposed sale dates and duration
    • Drafts or descriptions of associated promotional materials
  • Each request will be reviewed by Racer X Fabrication to ensure alignment with brand standards and MAP compliance. If approved, the distributor will be granted temporary MAP adjustments for the approved products and timeframe. All authorized distributors will be held to the same promotional standards. Approval may be influenced by the distributor’s past adherence to MAP guidelines and the overall quality and professionalism of the proposed campaign.

3. Terms

• MAP Price Adjustments
  • Racer X Fabrication reserves the right to adjust MAP pricing for any or all products at any time, with a minimum of 7 days advance written notice provided to all authorized distributors. This notice period is intended to give distributors sufficient time to update their advertised pricing in compliance with the revised MAP schedule.
• Policy Enforcement
  • Non-compliance with the Racer X MAP Policy may result in the immediate termination of authorized distributor status. While Racer X may issue warnings at its discretion, it is under no obligation to do so. Consistent enforcement ensures fairness across all authorized partners.
• Confidentiality
  • The terms outlined in this MAP Policy, along with any other Racer X Fabrication policies or agreements, are considered confidential. These terms are not to be shared publicly, discussed on forums or social platforms, or disclosed to any third party without express written permission from Racer X Fabrication.
