Compared to the OEM shift lever damper, our deadweight increases mass from 383g to 600g — a 57% increase — adding deliberate inertia to the shifter assembly. Very Nice Addition!
When I ordered this, I thought it was not going to make a lot of change in the shifter…. But I was very wrong, I have added this and paired with every other part they offer for the GR drivetrain and this was a very good addition, that first and second gear are now crispy clean and the feeling overall is amazing. Love to get into my GR and driving around with how the shifter experience has become, thanks to Racer X!

review of counterweight
Easy to install, now I have the short shifter replacement, no issues. Now, driving time will tell, really haven't noticed a difference yet, I just installed the counter weight Saturday, the 21st of February, and I only driven twice since then. Like said time will tell.
