This shift box is an absolute must for the SW20. I assume with shift feel is the sort of thing that slowly degrades over time as the parts wear so you don't actually realise how bad it has become. For me it actually took someone else to point it out to me. Well I'm glad they did because with this thing installed the car feels new again. It's extremely solid and fluid at the same time, totally effortless. I was getting some rotation in the shift lever and it would move horizontally quite a bit in neutral, now it's totally solid, amazing. You can tell the kit is extremely well made as everything just slots in and lines up perfectly. Install was pretty straight forward, I knew nothing about shift boxes before hand but used a combination of the instructions on this page and the YouTube install video by @ValeeMeetz (great job man).

This shifter box does not only look amazing it works amazing as well. The gear shifting is very precise, again a must have on your Mr2. I for sure am not covering this great looking shifter box up.

Given that this product didn't have any reviews, I was a little worried at first when it came to purchasing it. However, someone out there has to be the first so I decided why not me? I bought 2 of these shifter boxes early December, one for me and one for my girlfriend's MR2. I got to say, the unboxing of this product made me feel like I had just won the lotto. The quality of the packaging made the unboxing process SO much more exciting. With every layer that was removed, a new beautiful looking aluminum piece was revealed. The quality of the product itself... stupendous.

On top of that, the install was a breeze. Plug and play, no modifications needed (DISCLAIMER: If you are running any sort of after market shift lever, you may run into some issues with hitting trim pieces. I have one from MR2 heaven and I needed to modify my shifter trim cover).

Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality, look, and feel this kit has. It comes with EVERYTHING needed to replace the old shifter box. The ONE thing I would say could be improved is having an installation guide for the kit. I installed mine fairly easily because I've been around cars for quite a while, however my girlfriend has not, so assembling everything for her was a bit more difficult since there were no instructions on how to assemble everything together.
