The Racer X Fabrication MR2 Gen 4 downpipe flange takes the hard work out of having a custom downpipe made for your engine swap. The flange is CNC laser cut from 1018 cold rolled steel and CNC machined for smooth transitionally airflow into the divorced dump tube. Divorced downpipes have often been proven to provide better power output by preventing turbulent airflow at the outlet of the exhaust turbine housing. The dump tube should typically be routed 12 to 18” downstream from the outlet of the turbine housing.
