The Racer X Fabrication adjustable short throw shifter for the 2023+ GR Corolla is designed to reduce shifter throw and increase shifting speed while giving you the flexibility to dial in your preferred feel.
This updated design features three selectable reduction settings, allowing you to choose between approximately 15%, 25%, or 40% reduction in shifter throw. Whether you prefer a more refined OEM+ feel or an aggressive, race-inspired shift, you can fine-tune the setup to match your driving style. The lower reduction settings also make this shifter more compatible with short throw shift levers (commonly referred to as short shifters), helping prevent an overly notchy or overly aggressive shift feel when combining both modifications.
CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the shifter mounts directly under the OEM bell crank and utilizes the shifter cable post to increase stability and eliminate slipping. The completed component is anodized black for corrosion resistance and laser etched with the Racer X logo.
Note: Short-throw shifters come with a trade-off — reducing shifter movement increases shifting force. Higher reduction settings will result in a more mechanical or notchy feel. Solid shifter bushings will further amplify this effect. For best results, we recommend Racer X spherical bearing shifter bushings, as they allow for slight cable articulation and help maintain smooth operation.

Short Shifter V.2
Interesting approach to a short shifter. I have never seen a kit like this that manipulates the bell crank rather than swapping for a shorter shifter lever. The kit I received appears to be version 2. I like the option for adjustability. I did not feel a drastic difference between settings 1 and 2 so I set mine at 2. Excellent tactile engagement. A+ kit.

Short shifter
I bought all 3 parts for the shifter the lateral, the short shifter and the bushings and the difference it makes is not even explainable. It makes it feel like a completely different way car. I highly recommend it. The install was super straight and not hard at all. Took me maybe 1.5hrs to complete all three phases.
