I didn't expect this quick and inexpensive mod to do much of anything, but I was wrong. First drive impressions with them installed is that I have more confidence when shifting. There's still lots of slop from everything else being stock but I can still tell that these little guys made a difference in firming it up a bit. Definitely a must buy for any Sonic or Cruze owner with a manual.

The reason I went with Racer X instead of the other companies who make the shifter bushings is because Racer X actually provides proof of their product. Installation was a breeze the only trouble I ran into was pulling out the insulation piece without ripping it too much, I also found that having a pair of long needle nose pliers and a magnetic pickup tool will help you out with removing the bolts and the sleeves. There was a noticeable difference shifting after the installation and I'm very happy with it. Now I wish Racer X would develop a cable clamp like the other companies have.
