The Racer X Fabrication noise generator delete kit for the 2015+ Ford Mustang was designed to eliminate the OEM noise generator. The noise generator is the hose coming off the OEM intake elbow, routes through small rectangular box by driver side the intake manifold, and finally into the cabin behind engine. The delete kit eliminates this unnecessary OEM feature that many enthusiasts find annoying and also eliminates clutter in the engine bay. The aluminum cap provided in the kit simply presses on the hose outlet of the intake system and the black plastic cap is placed into the engine bay wall after the OEM system is removed.
Construction
The kit features a 6061-T6 aluminum cap that has been CNC machined and anodized black for corrosion resistance.
