The Racer X Fabrication reverse lock out for the 2013+ Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86 is the perfect addition to your OEM or aftermarket shifter. The OEM reverse lock out is plastic and can cause a slight rattle after time. The reverse lock out is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and uses the OEM press pin to keep location the same as OEM. The design uses OEM CAD data to match the taper angle at the base of the shifter and engages the base to eliminate rattle while still providing a smooth transition into reverse when engaged. Comes standard in a black anodized finish with the Racer X logo etched on both sides.
For convenience, we also offer a steel 3/32" punch to simplify installation and eliminate extra trips to the hardware store.
