The Racer X Fabrication shifter bushings for the 2012+ Chevy Sonic were designed to eliminate additional movement in the shifter. During shifting, the assembly moves up to 1/16 of an inch. This movement creates less than desirable feedback with spirited driving and can lead to missed shifts or grinding.
